1st - 3rd December 2006 Fools and Angels Exhibition
|
|
Many thanks to Ba Wheeler and the other members of the Fools and Angels Art Group for hosting a wonderful exhibition in their homes on West Parade. A festive atmosphere was created with some of Lincolnshire's finest artists and craft workers exhibiting in such friendly domestic surroundings. The weather was kind to us and resulted in a healthy turnout of enthusiastic supporters and collectors.
Ba has booked the more spacious Sam Scorer Gallery to host next years Fools and Angels over a two week period in December 2007.
More details of the event will be posted in later editions of the news page. |
7th - 10th December 2006 The Lincolnshire Christmas Market |
|
Maggie and Tracy amongst their work at the Lincoln Christmas Market 2006 |
As a hurricane demolished parts of the capital city of London, we were setting up our stand in the outdoor craft marquee of the Lincoln Christmas market; for the seventeenth time. A huge turn out of brave souls came to visit the show, with record figures of over 160,000 over the four days. |

Lincoln Christmas Market 25 Years Celebration |
The famous market was celebrating twenty five years of trading and the City Council had decorated the event with huge star lights and colourful globes in the trees. Snow Queens and Elves and tall stilt walkers entertained the crowds and braved the windy weather. |
17th December at The Hub Christmas Craft Fair |
|
We attended the first Christmas Craft Fair at the Hub in Sleaford on a bright, but cold morning. It was a chance to chat and catch up with some craft fair friends from the Alford Craft Market, who we hadn't seen for a while. We were all entertained by jugglers, pantomime dames and singing children. |
