ARTIST'S STATEMENT   This striking animal with large curled horns is another tricky pot to create in clay. The horns and ears are held by blocks of sponge for several weeks until the piece has sufficiently dried out and a balance has formed.
ARTIST'S STATEMENT   This compact vessel reflects the calm strength and force of this great beast.  A formal and imposing design depicted simply in tonal oxides with a tenmoku finish on the eyes.
